Use as a bedding material in the heat treatment of special alloy steels, It is use as a fluxing medium in the meeting of special steels as a component of low expansion glass. It is use as a constituent of special china dazes & it is use as a raw material for the manufacture of dental porcelains. It is use for refractory application such as electrical insulators.
