Calcined Alumina
Calcined Alumina is a commercial Alumina or Aluminum Oxide. It is white powder. One of the outstanding characteristics of Calcined Alumina is its hardness which is 9 on mohs scale. Identification of grades
1) Calcined Aluminum S-100 grades: White granular free flowing powder passes through 150 m.

3) Calcined Alumina SCM grade: It is finally ground grades consisting entirely of superfine passes through 45 micron.
4) Calcined Alumina S-300 PT: It is finely ground grade consisting entirely of superfine with surface treated.
Uses
Use as a bedding material in the heat treatment of special alloy steels, It is use as a fluxing medium in the meeting of special steels as a component of low expansion glass. It is use as a constituent of special china dazes & it is use as a raw material for the manufacture of dental porcelains. It is use for refractory application such as electrical insulators. 3. It also features narrow particle size distribution range, high grinding efficiency, good polishing effect, and high grinding efficiency much higher than that of silica and other soft abrasives. The surface finish is better than the polishing effect of white corundum. With a strong cutting force, and fast luster achieving speed, it can achieve uniform and bright luster.
The main purpose
1. Suitable for vibratory polishing (machine polishing, tumbling), manual polishing (abrasive polishing) and so on of artificial stones, zircon, glass, natural stones, bowlder, jade, agate, etc.
2. Widely used in the grinding and polishing of aluminum, copper, stainless steel, stone, glass, tile, etc.
3. Can also be used in surface finish of burnishing stick, polishing slurry, paint surface, acrylic, stainless steel mirror, non-ferrous metal, jade, marble, granite rock, crystal, and optical glass.
4. Used in the manufacturing of artificial abrasive materials and artificial abrasives.
